The Midas story
In 1956, Macon Midas celebrated the opening of the first Midas service
centre in the American state of Georgia.
32 years later, Midas NZ opened their first New Zealand franchise
This was the start of many successful Midas businesses. Today Midas
is a household name synonymous with quality.
In 2003 Midas NZ was sold.
The change of ownership has meant the beginning of a new era for

inspection report before any work commences.
Upfront written quote
Before we lift a spanner we’ll tell the customer how much
it’s all going to cost, upfront and in writing. We produce
exact quotes detailing all the costs of parts and labour.

means, should customers ever need after sales service, they can
